Each of our North Carolina egg donors are carefully screened and counseled
as to her roles and obligations as an egg donor. Donors
who choose to work through our agency are personally interviewed
and thoroughly informed of the processes, both legal
and medical, that are required of this commitment before
they proceed. There are many issues to consider for all
of the parties concerned, and it is our role to make these issues
and their possible conclusions as clear as possible.
The egg donation process and those who choose to take
part in it are directly responsible for countless happy

Merle Siegel, RNC, BSN, our Senior Case Manager for the Southeast Region, comes to us with 20 years of experience working as a clinical fertility nurse in both academic and private fertility clinic settings. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Boston University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from Rush University in Chicago. She holds special certification in the area of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Nursing. Her experience in working exclusively within the realm of third party reproduction during the past 18 years of her clinical career has enabled her to develop a special appreciation and understanding of the support and resources needed by intended parents during their journey towards parenthood. Merle is thrilled to be joining the team at The Donor Source.
